The Optoma HD72 home theater projector is also one of the most feature-rich projectors available in its class. The HD72 home theater projector uses BrilliantColor technology for increased brightness in mid-tone images, common in-video and natural scenes. This creates truer, more vibrant colors and deeper levels of black. Offering remarkable display capabilities the HD72 is a 16:9 enhanced HDTV projector that features HDMI input and Faroudja de-interlacer, DCDi chipset for extraordinary leading-edge performance. Optoma projectors have O2Air technology, which has been shown to reduce pollutants in the air (e.g., cigarette smoke) by up to 90%. The unique Shield Design of the projector casing prevents unwanted light emission. Through strategic use of baffles within the cooling tunnel, air speeds are reduced resulting in quiet operation.
